My $7.20

Today went to MAH for frozen section. Hmm not bad. The fastest one i ever done for the past 10 months i guess. Then went back to the lab taking cab(fare paid by coy).Song siaz. Free ride always the best.

When i reached the entrance of the coy, i realised my card holder missing. Anyway the receptionist let mi in. After discussing with Anton, i called MAH OT to seek their help. First i asked to be transfer to the nurse. Then she told mi to call "Recovery" section.

Wah i tot is the lost and found section lor. But very weird how come OT got one specialised section for tt lor. Later i realised its a like a waiting place for patient before their operation. (i think so). Anyway the staff at the recovery helped mi go look for the folder for mi. Very disappointed.

My next resort is to try the cab. Luckily i got the vehicle no. cos its printed on the receipt. lolx. I called the cab coy. Wah its took quite a while before the customer service officer free to tok to mi. I wonder if i really need to take cab urgently, will it really be faster by booking or by flagging on the streets?

After i gave details of the folder and its contents, the operator helped to contact the driver. Phew luckily its with him lor. But then i had to pay him for the fare tt my folder had "sit" in his cabby. There-$7.20.

But after all i still tan tio as compared if i lose the folder. Cos inside the folder:

1) ezylink which has got over 30 bucks inside
2) coy magnetic card which i need to pay 50 bucks to get replaced
3) amore card- which i dunno need to pay how much
4) 3 neo prints with SK4- priceless i guess
5) $15 SGD

See i tan tio right though i wasted $7.20 for nothing. This kind of feeling 失而复得 is good siaz. At first i tot i very suay and the bad luck thing going to start again but its still ok. So pls... good luck all the way ok.

Anyway today is a busy day. I work from 10am to 8pm lor. tired....

Bus 197 Vs Bus 7

Everytime i work morning, i will try to catch the bus 197 which will arrive @ JBM ard 735am. Its a single deck bus and everytime i take the bus it will be very crowded. Everytime i see it from far, i always got this feeling tt its wun stop for mi. Cos i am afraid that the driver will take the excuse that the bus is crowded and he cant make space for mi. However everytime this uncle will stop for mi, though i am the only person in the bus stop.

Not only for mi, he will stop @ every stop tt has got passengers waiting to board the bus. I think its very nice of him. I nv heard him shout to the passengers " Move BAcK" or thing like tt.

I rem once the bus was so crowded tt ppl were standin @ the stairs at the front door. I think wat space left is the right corner of the first stair. I was like - -''' when i saw this. But then i need to rush to work, so i juz waved. It stopped. I got up and with some squeezing, the door MANaged to close. Then i phewed. So if i was to make a nomination of a good driver, this uncle will be the one i will nominate.

Unlike tt Bus no 7 which mi and Janice encountered @ PS like 2 weeks ago. All the driver noe is "i cannot close door". Sux attitude. He drove a double-decked bus. I noe no standing of the upper deck but i think he din even try to close the door lor.

Its happened that mi and janice is eng eng cheng cheng la. Wat happen if we are in a rush? If the auntie later got onto the bus, the door can closed i dun see y when mi and janice on the bus the door cannot closed. Fen ming shi double standard. Mind u, we pay the same amt as the auntie lor. We using adult ezlink lor.

Anyway this morning... i heard an interesting 脑筋急转弯。 Its goes like this... 为什么人都不喜欢庆祝32岁的生日？（提示：和生日蛋糕有关）。。。

These days VS My days

On chu san, jm went to his primary sch teacher hse to bai nian. She told jm and his frenz tt these days they cannot use any physical punishment on the kids like 罚站，打手心 etc. The teachers can only COUNSEL them. This is simply because parents will complain.

This remind mi when i was primary school. Think Pri 4. My chinese teacher,( u noe la, chinese teacher usually is those old old one) would pulled ears, slapped us on the face. Really hard. And its maybe juz for a mistake like failing 听写。Anyway i dun think failing is a mistake. Cos its not something everyone will pass de though they gt studied @ home. However, i nv heard any parent, at least not my batch, complaining. I think maybe the students also felt paisei to tell their parent cos they did badly or did wrong stuff. Apparently, i think its differet now.

I rem the very last time i went back to visit my sec sch teachers, i tok to my emath teacher. He told mi nowadays students very hard to teach. Even harder than teaching my clsmates and mi. Mind u, he got 30 something yrs( its something tt he always emphasized) of teaching math experience and he actually dun use the textbook. He got his own set of maths teachin notes. The textbook was needed only when we wanted to do the practice questions. He said he got this student who got his parents to complain to the sch tt he dunno how to teach simply cos he( my teacher) dunno the stuff well. KNS~

But one thing i envied abt the kids nowadays is most of them noe how to speak english @ a young age cos their parents usually are english educated. I come from a dialect and chinese speaking family. So no one taught mi how to speak english since young. Even there are relatives who noe how to speak english, they also nv teach mi. Simply becos most of them sux. One day i will tok abt them here. Really sux. Anyway I learnt my first few words in kindergarden i guess. ABC also in K1.

Before kindergarden, i was a kid who always played at the playground, running ard with my cousins and brothers. Cant rem much also la. Beside dunno how to speak and write english, I also dunno anything. I may noe how to do nonsense things like riding in motorised vehicles, playing games. Unlike this days, a lot of kids @ young age alr speak good english and learnt to use PC, swim etc.

I dun blame my mother for not letting mi learn swimming or other things. Cos my family financial status doesnt allow mi to. And unlike my brothers, i am the fourth child so i dun haf edusave. Govt doesnt gif mi money yearly. I rem when i pri 3/4, there was this camp organised by the school. Its not compulsory and i think can only use edusave to pay lor.

So till today i still dunno how to swim. Not tt i dun wan to learn now but i also paisei leh. Imagine u go the swimming cls, all young young kids and u the only adult there... My frenz who volunteered to teach also give up on mi cos i simply cannot bring my head up the water to breath. I given up hope le.

Coming back to the topic... though my childhood is not as "enriching" as the kids now, i am happy. At least whenever i get punished, i would realise my mistake. I think a little punishment like standing is okay but not like wat my teacher did-slapping.

Toking abt standing, I rem one of my clsmate in sec sch. Its history lesson and the teacher was like testing the cls by asking one by one. So if u get wrong, then u will haf to stand on the floor. If wrong again then will stand on the chair. And if wrong again, u would have to stand on the table. I dun wan to mention my this particular clsmate name la. But these in my cls might rem. He stood on the table lor. think he the only one or wat. So funny. But its funny at the same time i was praying for him cos his hair quite near the oscillating fan lor.

My Valentine Day present from Victor

On Valentine's Day, Victor msged mi and told mi that he got mi a present for Valentine's Day. So he said when he could meet mi up-he wants to treat mi for dinner cos he owed mi one and he can also pass mi the present. So we met up ytd after work for dinner at Holland Village.

He passed mi the present the first thing he meet u with mi.Its a simple one and i tot is really nice of him though the present is not expensive stuff. He usually very thrifty one. Later as we tok then i realised he bought this not specially for mi lor. Its turn out tt he actually wanted to buy for the new ger he juz noe in sch. KMHH lor. So he bought few stuffs from the shop and wrapped using those plastic to wrap textbook and rattan string. So i am juz

无心插柳. Extra only.

Anyway he treat mi some hawker food and BK dessert. Not he stingy la. Is i choose the hawker food and BK dessert among coffee bean, xiao long bao and BK. Cos i dun wan to spend too much of his money. Cos he is a poor student.

Then go home after tt. In the bus i took out the present again. I found out something. I put here is not to make him paisei. But to tell my readers to LOOK carefully before u buy something esp in those neighbourhood provision shop.

A Slack Day @ work

Today start work le. A long break since last wed. Today @ work is same as usual except for the very low no. of pap smears i received today. Its the lowest number i ever received ever since i started workin in the lab.

But then the nice Dr Kwan did something very educational to show mi, Rasidah and Sugan. Dunno can disclosed here a not cos its confidential. Anyway its remind mi of my poly year one wherby Suhu dissected a rat in front of the class.

Suhu very skilled. He put the rat to zzz using chloroform. Then he cut the skin of the rat without breakin any blood vessels. So no bleeding. Then he showed the parts of the body. Pull up the intestines, lifted up the rip cage etc. Very educational.

Anyway Dr Kwan showed us some features of an abnormal foetus.

Suddenly a bit speechless. Feeling abit low right now. Maybe due to uncertainities @ work, feel sad for the foetus or feel worried for someone who is very nice and he is feeling low right now.

Luo Mo~

Juz finish chatting with ah dear on phone. Hes back in hostel again le. Which mean he start school tml morning and mi, back to work again le.

A whole week of break ends so fast and yet i felt like i dint achieve much like tt. Other than doing some spring cleaning, watching movies, eating 6 rounds of steamboats, shopping ard trying on clothes, i like nv do much le.

Chinese new year like losing its meaning to me le~ In fact i very sianz with new year coming. Cos muz shop for new year clothes and stuff... Very ma fan. When i was young, my aunt would choose for mi. NOw i haf to choose myself and every year i muz really crack my brain to think of wat to wear. Think wat i enjoy most is the steamboat. Cos my mother will buy lotsa of foods for us to eat. And she only did this during the new year period. I think that y i will enjoy it. If can get to eat during normal days... then its not something i will look forward le.

Chu Er 2007

Before i start.. i wan to mention something. Whenever i mention Janice or Keiko. They are the same person. This ger very troublesome. For nothing hor she got so many names lor. So janice=keiko.

Ytd after coming back from airport.. I slacked @ home and watched 转角。遇到爱 epi5. I noe i very slow but then cos i last 2 week very busy spring cleanin, shopping and working. so no time to watch la.

Then eat steamboat before going out. Its my 4th steamboat since sat. But i still like it. Hope later got steamboat to eat again.

Then meet dear,lx,yl,vincent and choon ann for dinner and movie. We watched "Just Follow Law". As usual funny and quite a "true" movie though always a bit kua zhang la. I wun go on talkin abt the show cos i tink u guys should go and watch.

Then after tt we walked to bugis de mac la kopi. Dunno y cannot la @ PS since we watched the show @ PS. haha. Anyway only 5 of us cos vincent nv join us. He lived further as compared to us. Long time nv la kopi with these guys le. Tok till 1am like tt. Enjoyed the conversation cos these guys are those i feel comfortable toking to. Maybe they r as lame as mi~ haha or becos in front of them i no image one so can tok anything...

Choon ann got bring my n janice de fav sunglass. This guy very stingy one lor. Ask him give he dun wan ask him sell also dun wan. Diao Qi Lai Mai lor.

After tt we went home taking cab. A very nice driver willingly to take in 5 of us. Hehe~ Thanx uncle. Luckily we nv meet any road block....

Happy New Year~

First i wan to wish everyone to have a good year ahead. Hope tt this "gold pig" will bring good luck to everyone. Last year wasnt tt lucky for mi.. SO i hope this year will be one good year.

Ytd the first day of new year. Not much bai nian. Anyway i always seldom go bai nian one. Morning go Si Bei Lor with mother. SO crowded. The weather so hot till both of us got headache for the rest of the day lor. Then after tt go dear de hse eat steamboat and bai nian. Then slack all the way till nite.

Went for movie "Twins Mission". Quite nice la but ending hor... dun wan say let ppl go find out themselves. One good thing abt the show is tt can see many pairs of identical twins and one pair of weird twins. Its quite funny.

Juz came back from airport, sending my ai ren peiling and wewewe off. Its a gan chiong trip to airport. As my mrt reaching bedok ali msg mi to say they going in @ 12. Its was then ard 1145. Then reach tanah merah wait for train to come and move... Alr 1152. By the time i reached airport 1205 i guess. Went up escalator and walk to skytrain and missed the train...

Juz as i was waiting for the train, pl called mi and said she cant wait anymore. She going in. I told her its okay but i was really very disappointed. After all i am only few hundred metres away from her. I hestitated for a while after we end our conversation, wonder to go ahead to T1 or juz go home from there. I decided to go ahead and see if i wan see them at waving gallery a not.

I reached T1 and went toward belt 4. I saw Ali waving. Then i saw Pl. So happy siaz... I went forward and hugged her crying. Haiz. So useless of mi.

Anyway i very happy for them to go TW for exchange program. Will be able to see them after 1/2yr unless someone sponser mi go TW la.

A new post after a long wait

I am finally back to blogging again. Initially i wan to desert this blog cos i simply dunno how to put the tagboard and i am lazy to blog. But since i am on leave these days i shall blog a bit.... I had to clear my leave so i took wed, thur and today to spring clean my hse. But then i only done tt on wed. Ytd I went out with Ricky and Keiko.

Happy Valentine to Everybody out there and also Happy Friendship to all my frenz...

Today is the 2nd valentine day i celebrate with JM. Last year he not feeling well so we end up going back to his hse after he fetch mi from work. But he did something which make mi surprised though. He got flower for mi and get the ger to send to my workplace. The ger so funny. She tot i am a nurse. So she say " i looking for Yee Ng.. think she is a nurse". So my colleague ask her go to other lvl.

Moment later.. JM called mi and ask where i am, which lvl. Then i realised she lookin for mi. So paisei in front of my colleagues. Got patients there somemore. But its nice i muz say.

This yr no flower cos i remind him not to buy( cos its a waste of money). But at least he is healthy to bring mi out to eat. The Rice Table. First time eating. Dun really taste tt good. Service not good also. Ask can give some iced water. The waitress only bring 1. Diaoz~

After dinner then went to watch Ghost Rider. Not bad... Quite nice. Then juz as i was to walk to the theatre, i happened to see a poster. "Kazunari Ninomiya". I tot this name looks familiar. Then i see the face next to the name. Its nino. So good of him to star in a movie. Dunno y nobody look for my ohno to act in series drama. He also very cute wat~ Nvm la he can earn extra bucks in Wu Tai Ju~ But directors out there look out for this ohno..... OHNO SATOSHI


15 Feb 2007:

This is a very slack day. Morning wake up play maple then janice ask mi out for breakfast @ mac. Then after tt come out then go out meet Ricky for lunch. Wah this guy really no time concept lor. I meet him 1pm @ first but later i stomachache so i meet him 130pm la. Then he say he outside le so he go sim lim. Then when i reach bugis... he took 1/2hr to walk from sim lim to bugis lor. Made mi sit under the hot sun and take in all the cigar smoke... then we tok and soon time for mi to go meet janice for kickboxing class. So i bid goodbye with ricky...

Then i realised i forget to pass him back his cd-rom which is the main motive why i haf lunch with him lor. Cos i dun wan to borrow thing over the new yr. Then he alr on bus le. Haiz~ wat to do. Then i go meet keiko for class. The class is good. Full of students and the instructor really made us work out and sweat.

Then we go meet janice de baby for dinner. Then got very suay things happen to mi lor. The bus very crowded but we managed to go up la but we stand on the stairs of the boarding area. She stand one side then i stand the other side. Then got this RED blouse auntie come to stick behind janice lor. then the driver say cannot close door lor. So the auntie go down after much delay. Then guess wat. Stupid driver still say cannot close door. NMHH!!!!!!!!!!!! can lor.. cos every morning i go work i also stand at the stair there. KNS leh~~~~

Anyway so mi and janice also go down lor. Then the RED auntie go up again and stand at my side then uncle close door~~~~ SUX rite... really NMHH leh~~~ then a worse thing happened.

After i go down the bus.. i felt very weird when i walked. Then i realised my very cui de track shoes hor the sole come out lor. Super duper malu... Bus stop so many ppl. Is the fang gong time @ PS lor. Xia Suay~

Then after tt go meet wj for dinner @ Ajisen. Then go bugis street to see can buy anything a not. then at one shop i tried 2 jumper of different design and different sizes. I tried the S one first. Then can fit but janice say jumper should wear loose de. So i tried the M one of different design. Super loose lor. The stupid salesger say i look like pregnant. So i ask if got S of tt design. Then she said can i buy the S of the first design? Simply becos the Q for fitting room is long... Siao char boh~

Then we went home after buyin a bag @ double index. Janice say she headache so i ask her to buy 100 plus ( we intend to get drinks) anyway. Cos i once read in a health magazine tt headache is caused by lack of ions like na and k. So isotonic drink will replenish tt la. In the end she say lagi worse the headache. haha. So dun believe in health magazine too much. Later i find out she got panadol with her lor. I think she should buy mineral water to ease the pain.....
