Minimart and Msia guy

Recently my hse downstair got newly opened minimart selling those food stuff and some household item. The shop is opened by a family. Got father, mother and 2 kids i think.

This afternoon i made a decision when i was walking past the shop- I decided to patrolise them when i need to buy thing. Well i haven buy anything from the shop yet, not even step into the shop yet.

Reasons why i decide to patrolise includes:
1) Its nearer to my house. Though there is another shop in the same block, it further by like 6 houses in between.
2) The attitude of the other shop sux. Cos they r the lao jiao so they very ya ya papaya
3) The family listen to FM88.3, juz like mi. This means that they have the same good taste with mi
4) I always go to NTUC to buy thing cos i dun wan to buy from tt attitude shop. So though its cheaper sometime, i need to carry a long way. So with this newly opened shop, i no need to carry for a long time.

After passing the shop, i decided to walk to Tiong Bahru Plaza. Cos i need to get something done there. Since its still early for work, i decide to walk there and save some cents. On the way there, i saw a guy walking also. He taller than mi so of cos his steps are bigger la. So he walk past mi. Then he stop at a traffic light and mi soon reaching.

When it turned to green man, we walked. I walk a shortcut but have to jaywalk a bit. Cos its faster and i think its a smarter way lor. Except if caught by police then its a stupid way. The man of cos he took the longer path and used the zebra-crossing.

As i had mentioned, his steps is bigger so by the way i reach TBP, he also reached la. Guess wat? He turned back and gave mi a very smug look lor. Piangz i very huo da lor!!!!

Anyway i cant be bothered la. Then i go bank he also go lor. Anyway i join the Q while he Q @ the Customer Service Counter. He think he can no need to Q.. In the end he also Q lor. Very suay de is he was attended by the counter ger next to mine lor.

He talked so loud tt i noe he is a Msia and he really thought tt his english very good. Ok la better than those ah beng msian. Anyway i finish my business first and guess wat? Before i walked away, i turned and gave him a smug look also...

I not trying to criticize msian guys la. Honestly speakin he is not too bad lookin and dressed fine too. But i just dun like him lor. From the first look then no hao gan le lor...

For this whole week, FM883 got this game going on. This is how its goes. When the DJs hu yu to sms in, then u sms in ur name and nric. Then they will pick one of the sms and call u without much of prior notice. Like they will say ok.. i will call the person i picked over the next 2 songs la. When the DJ call rite, the person is not suppose to say any except for the tong guan mi yu. Not even hello or wei. Its not easy lor cos its a natural response thing ma.

This afternoon on my way to work, the DJ called the person. The person managed to not to say hello but he din get the full phrase rite the first time. So he requested the DJ to give one more chance juz becos he managed not to say hello lor. SO the DJ kind enuff la but in the end he still nv get it rite. By the way, the prize is a chance to go to Bali living in a luxurious villa for 2......

Belated Bday to Ann and HanBaoBao's wedding

26 March 2007: Its Choon Ann Bday... but i forget to wish him Happy Bday la... SO Happy Belated Bday to him...

On the very same day... its hanbaobao(hamburger) de wedding. Well.. a big congrates to her though i not close to her.Hanbaobao is my cousin. 1 yr older than mi and she is getting married alr. No envy her cos i wan to get married when my finanical is more stable. Mian Bao very important to mi. Anyway she ROM last nov and then she hold her wedding dinner on 26 March at 燕阁 which is located at Chinatown.

The resturant does not look very impressive but the food they serve is quite good. The service lousy. How can the waiter like shout @ the guest to ask them to get away from his path?

One thing i like is to be able to see a lot of relatives and friends of the family. Cos i din get to see them this CNY. Mi and mummy placed to sit with 3rd uncle and family & big aunt and family.

My 3rd uncle i think is the most good looking among all the brothers. Though he has a beer belly now and got more white hairs, he still look very charming. He belongs to the Tony Leung those kind of man. Old but still very charming. Moreover he very talkative and like to sweet talk. Tok to everyone he can recognise.

When he was younger and he got money he used to bring mi and his 2 sons out to play. I rem he brought mi to big splash b4.

In the "abalone and mushroom" dish, he volunteered to scope the food for everyone at the table. The dish is such tt one person get 1 abalone and 1 big mushroom. So he scoped for his family then my mother. When its my plate.. he placed 1 abalone, 1 mushroom and some lettuce and said "specially for my favourite niece". So got face har?!

Abt the wedding... as usual lor. Yam seng and pour champagne. The groom nv talk. Anyway this is the first wedding among my generation for my paternal family. Cos I am considered one of the "old" cousin. So can imagine the rest like still teenagers and there is some even younger.

豆先生's Holiday

Hmm.. juz finish watching 豆先生 with ah pui @ PS... Its another disappointing show after TMNT. Well i mean i got higher expectation for these 2 movies. But one fail mi after the other. I know the story plot of this kind of show cant be very good la. But as least can make ppl really luff lor. However i din really enjoy myself and surprisely i even yawned during the show.

I dunno y la but i think the story a bit draggy and some parts like plain lame lor. Maybe i am the only one who feel tt way la cos the cinema is like 爆满. Ytd night cant get the tix almost everywhere.

Nvm i got other upcoming movies like pirates of the carribean, spiderman, harry porter....

Bie fu and TMNT

Went for dinner with ah pui last nite @ Beppu Mankan resturant in Tiong Bahru Plaza. Its got this very big "bie fu" at the front of the shop. Its the second time i ate there. Cant rem wat i ate the first time. Anyway din think much abt the shop. Nothing fantastic just cos its alr quite late and the other eating place need to Q up so juz do with the rstn.

Think the shop is quite good in its paper steamboat. Saw many ppl ordering that. But then i saw the pix so many vegetable and little meat, i nv order though it has my jin zhen gu in it.

I order this seafood spicy raman and ah pui order fried chix spicy ramen. One thing abt this spicy ramen is that u can choose how spicy u wan it to be, rating from 1 chili(the pix) to 5 chili. The rstn recommend u to take 1 chili first if u not too sure abt how spicy it is. Anyway mi and ah pui take 2 chili.

It turn out to be quite ok for mi, dunno for ah pui. Think i can take 3 chili next time. Anyway the spicy soup is not like the volcano in ajisen. I dunno wat they use but they dun use chili oil.

My Seafood ramen's main ingredient got 1 scallop,1 crabmeat, 1 mussel and 1 prawn. It cost mi 10 buck for that. I think it quite ok la but whether its reasonable to u guys i dunno.

The prawn and scallop quite big while the other 2 are normal. The scallop is the biggest one i ever eaten. It come in the hotate form not like the one in creation,naked. And its even got egg with it. Hotate doesnt come with egg right? Its as big as the ramen spoon.

This pix show the scallop. See the more yellowish part at the edge? Its like the egg. Taste like the egg in crab lor.

Anyway i nv eat much of the egg cos i simply dun like the chow chor taste. We also order gyoza. I ate 1 out of 5 cos i dun like the ku chai inside the gyoza.

After eating we went for the TMNT show. Hmm after watching i think so so only. The show focus alot on how raphel and leonardo fight and how they get along in the end. The fighting part din really show much on how they fight. Some part quite funny. I like the cartoon on tv better.

As for the characters, i really think that the NTs quite thin. Maybe thin is the in thing for them as well. The Sensei look like squirrel more than a rat lor. Put my baby de head better.

Ezza's last day

Still not feeling too well... Been sick for nearly a week alr. If tml not getting better, think really have to go take mc le. Well i think i am a very good employee lor. From April to end of the 2006 i only took 1 day mc. Very healthy and hardworking. Help company to save money not getting sick.

Anyway its Ezza last day today. She will be going to the same company as mi. Juz tt she will go first cos her notice period is only 1 month and she tender resignation earlier than mi. Anyway Ezza is my dept de transcriptionist. She is in charge of typing and sending histology report. Which mean she will haf to read the histotechs' handwriting. Mostly is well written de. I mean legible. Except for 2 guys. The first one always scribbles the description. Even with the help of the mechanical pencil which is better, sometime she still cannot understand wat the guy trying to spell. And the recently joined guy who always followed closely to the canned text which none of the other 4 of us did. I mean we did follow la but not all the words.

So since is her last day, we planned a pot luck for her. As usual. Whenever people in the dept leaving, we will haf pot luck. Today de pot luck is pretty small. Small enough for the dept ppl. Unlike the previous ones, today not much leftover. Which is good la. Today menu's as follow:

Dr Tan and Rani had contributed a lot for a pot luck held on friday alr so we also paisei to ask them bring any food. As for drinks, nobody brought but we used the leftover orange syrup for friday's pot luck. So we have everything. Actually i wanted to take the photo for all the food but then my lousy cam with its lousy battery failed mi again. Anyway never mind. Its juz food mah.

We also bought one necklace for her. Not expensive though. Its identical to the one Rasidah wearing. Cos its bought by her as well. Again no pix of the present. Today pot luck lasted over 1hr. I think its been a long time since we gathered and chat together like today. Today topic mainly on food. Where got good food...

Rani told us abt one stall @ kopitiam. Not the shopping centre kind. Is those non-aircon uncle la kopi tt kind. The portion is big is america food but u have to q for 1hr for tt. Phew.. muz get ah pui to bring mi there. Then i tell u guys my comment k. Then Dr Tan ask a funny question "r u sure tt they say american food but when they served, it not ramli(y) burger? Haha.. is there really a place that will cheat customers like tt? I bet there is. If u guys noe, tell mi k.

Then the topic come to toilet and population. The over-populated Tokyo. The ger toilet when u enter rite, u need to back into the toilet bowl. Which mean there is not enuff space for u to go in and turn ard then sit. Phew.... Anyway we chatted more and i like the feeling though i hate to see ppl go. The next pot luck we shall hold probably for Anton which will be ard early mid of april.

Later, just before we went home, i managed to find batteries for my cam. So we managed to take group photo....

This pix is taken today when Jean comes back to the lab. Her last day is last working day. She is from the Haematology Dept. Now She found somewhere better. Hope she will be happily working there. According to a reliable source, this march there will be like 10 ppl in the lab including non-medical staffs leaving for new company. Its a pity to be separate like tt. Though i may not be close with other dept, i really feel like home. Though there will be like disputes, seeing how they mingle with each other is really a home feeling.

Check up and Stomp the yard

Went for my pre-employment checkup this morning. Ah pui accompanied mi go. Hmm nothing much also la. Just urinate on some dipstick to see if protein and glucose normal a not. Mine is normal dunno the other ppl out there la. Then go to x-ray chest. The lady not very friendly lor.

"Since u wearing a plain T-shirt, juz remove ur bra lor and DUN Need to wear my gown" Kaoz who want to wear ur stupid gown. So many ppl wear b4 lor dunno they got bath a not lor. "Remove ur necklace unless u wan to bite it with ur mouth when u taking x-ray" Piangz.. Cant she juz nicely ask mi to remove lor.

Then went to take my weight and height and test my eyesight. Height is 1.64m. Erz weight nv see but should be ard 50kg la. My right eyes 6/6(aided), left eyes 6/18 (without aid) and 6/9(with aid). I am amazing by the result for my left eyes.

Cos i got eyes infection before so my left eyes vision always down de. When i went to optical shop to test the left eyes.. no matter wat degree of lense they try-its still blur de lor. But then today they just use a cupboard and poked a small hole onto it and let mi see thru the hole using my left eyes.. i can actually see almost quite clear lor.

Then its the physical check up... The doctor also not too friendly. I guess this can be accounted for y the other staff also not too friendly. Start by asking some stuff.

Then she took my blood pressure. Think i too powerful le. The stopper at the pump "pop" out from the pump. First time i see this kind of thing happened lor..

Then i lie on the bed then she slowly violated my body. First my stomach then my chest lastly my breast. Sobzz... Pl wo dui bu qi ni..

The way she press for lump like no skills lor. anyhow press only not thorough de lor.

Then the whole thing finally finish le.

Went home then play Sim2 for a while then go meet keiko for amore lessons. My last 2 lessons cos i am not going the next day. I have 2-3 more credits but my body really cannot take it lor. Beside i going for goodie bag and a chance to see milk.

Today lesson is Low Impact and Kickboxing. Low Impact a bit like aerobics move here move there. First lesson though. Kickboxing i been to quite a few times le. Though i think if i really meet any bad guys, it wun be much help la. But i treat it as a form of exercise. Not been performing very well these days cos i really feel very unwell. but i really dun wan to waste too many credits cos its very expensive.

After lesson then went to makan. Secret Recipe. i had chix cordon bleu which is first thin layer of deep fried flour then one thick layer of chix meat then layer of ham and lastly cheese. So its like got cheese coming out when u come thru. Not nice leh. At least not as nice as wat i previously eat. The portion is smaller also. i also had cheeze choc which is wat ah pui buy for my last yr bday cake. Also smaller portion leh. Haiz nowadays everything also Qwu Zhui.

After tt went to watch stomp the yard with ah pui. At first keiko say wan to join de lor but she say 910 is late. haha as if she got better thing to do at home. At least gt each other go home together after the show man. Yet she dun wan to watch.

Its a nice show. Those kind of inspiring story and nice dance movement. Its as nice as step up and she the man. Though this show dun have shuai ge. But its still worth to watch...

Sick

Been sick since wed... flu, sore throat,headache and tummyache. muz be thinking of plthien too much. she sick i also sick... Nowadays i sick also nobody bother le. TT ah pui always bz with his project and school work... Sometime even got no time to chat with mi on phone and even chat also like fews mins. haiz.. i noe ah pek say i very understanding but then also buay tahan so fa fa lao sao lor.

Haven much for the past few days... Monday go sign letter of appointment @ new coy... 2 May 2007, i will be officially colleague with Shujun le... Yeah~ At least got frenz there. The position i got is to replace Eleena.

Hmm as compared to the present coy, the pay is higher a bit but i have to travel further. The timing is wat i like. More regular like office hours, can study my part time degrees but i promised to wait for like another yr. Meanwhile, i guess can teach tution though i throw everything back to all the teachers le. See how first lor. The staff benefits slightly better but have to change a new workin environment and new colleagues and the worst is have to undergo 3 month probation again....

Ytd went to amore with keiko for hip hop basic. First time going to the class. The instructor quite young and he not like other instructor like tt. He wear like loose 3/4 and shoes and one jacket. I been thinking tt he is a chinese till keiko told mi tt his name is Ahmad.. then i realised he is a malay.

He quite ok lor. I still like siao charboh better. He said i wave byebye to him. Luckily the class all dunno. If not i paisei.. Cos the dance include:
First- raise ur hand above ur head
Then-Stretch ur hand out away from the shoulder
Last-Tilt the head up(look up)

I do all the 3 steps correctly except for the last step. I tilt my head up and also raise my hand up to the hand again... So is like byebye motion la. Luckily he nv detent mi. Hahaha

This instructor teaches like very few steps. Unlike the Cardiolatino class. anyway my credit expriring soon le. Cant go to Ahmad lesson again.

起伏不定的日子

这几天都很彷徨因为似乎有种都不知道该怎么办的感觉。从上个礼拜六就开始了。

礼拜六：我到H去面试。我的竞争者是我的同事。 很奇怪的感觉因为自己很想得到那份工作但因为是不错的同事所以也希望她能拿到。 毕竟我们都在同一艘船上。也能体会她想要这份工作的期待吧。

星期一：H的实验室经理答应会在今天回复我和R. 从早上就很担心， 不停的看电话。另一方面又担心对方已经收到电话通知了。战战惊惊去公司发现对方也没有收到电话。但心里的不安依然没有停止。 就这样到了下午3点45分， 我才收到经理的简讯。 我被录取了。很兴奋但也很内疚因为知道R有多失望。不过她还是很替我高兴。 我想换是我，我也会隐藏着失望和无奈很高兴的恭喜她的。

星期二：我到老板的办公室想要谈离职的事。她却告诉我个晴天霹雳的事。就是当她们告诉新经理J有关我将离职时，J说要先看我的合约才看能让我走吗。

和约分成两种：第一种是比如签24个月。 在这24个月，当你要离职时，只需要给两个月的通知并做满这两月或者赔偿两个月的月薪，就能走人了。 第二种是签24个月。 在这24个月， 你要离职， 就得赔偿所剩的月薪。 比如 做了12个月，就赔剩下的12个月。

而我的合约就属于后者。当我听到这消息时，真的很吃惊， 因为我不是很蛮撞的人，至少在这方面我很小心。 当我还没有申请H公司时，我一直问老板申请到了工作，真的不会被和约影响吗？她告诉我若我真拿到这份工作，我的合约将会被作废。结果我最害怕的事还是灵验了。虽然老板说她们会尽量说服J，但最终的决定还是由J. 我还能说什么？我不能说我信错人吧。当晚我真的是有够难过的。若要赔偿， 我宁愿不要离职。毕竟我还这样年轻。 我不想惹上官司。

和Keiko去了一下运动， 似乎只暂时忘记一下。 和DeaR诉苦时，他给了不错的意见。所以，心比较坦然了。

星期三：去见了老板。她说J说will let me off out of goodwill。这一刻我的心也没有比较心安。因为J也可以改变主意的。不过， 我已经很累了。 我想豁出去了。 我去打好我的辞职信。 给老板后就算了。

星期四：老板说既然我要走了， 他们会叫Lester来替我的位。要开始训练他了。 所以我得去代他的位子至到我的最后一天。 我傻眼了。 我除了我的部门的同事以外就没有和别的同事交谈了。更何况， 我原本以为我能一至待在我的部门至到最后一天。当我和我的部门同事提起这事时， 他们也不要我调过去。所以就和老板谈判。 老板就想到用Tan来帮忙。因为他的话也会有一定的影响力。害我还被他笑了一下。真的是有够丢脸的因为他是我的部门也可以说是公司的魅力男吧。他也不赞成我被调走。但他要和Kwan商量。我的天啊。。。 不过到了最后， 不知道为什么， 我竟然不用被调走。

不过我也能想象以后Lester 被调来后，我的部门会有overstaff的问题。 我只能走一步看一步了。

说到这Lester，我想我一定有欠他些什么。 第一，他能到这公司上班也是我间接介绍的。因为若没有我介绍Ricky进公司， 他就不会被Ricky介绍进来了。第二， 若我没有到H上班， 他就不能代我的位子。 他就会被裁了。 所以是我帮他的。 他最好是对我好一点 虽然我和他是没有什么交情啦。Plthien和他比较有交情。 我想到他曾经问她（pl)的东西我就想笑。

Teacher Visiting

Hmm ytd went to Mdm teoh house to bai nian. Long time nv see her alr. But not as long as she claim. She said after O lvl i nv go back. I think i did once or twice like tt lor. The first and second yr after i graduated i did go back. Cant really rem le. Juz rem tt the last time i went back to Quest was when Ms Oon told us she leaving the school soon and abt her tooth operation.

Anyway Mdm teoh used to be my sec 4 form teacher and taught us "pure" chem tt time. She was one of the few teacher who knew something fishy abt mi and edgar. She din actually encourage but at least she nv object or make any noise. I think she say so long as it wun affect the result of the 2 of us, she is ok with it. Luckily Edgar's result still as good. If not she will beat mi up for affecting her fav student. Oppx

Mdm Teoh live at the old condo in orchard. The place quite big la but not as big as the one over at Radin Mas de. Radin Mas one is so far the biggest i ever been to.

We(mi,eve,ca,cm and wk) tok a lot over her hse. I saw her hubby and son also. Both of them quite nice. Her hubby tok to us while her son like hihi like tt. We also eat a lot. Got peng cuttlefish, chocolate, dried apple chip and bA gua. She also got give angpow leh. Weird weird de. First time received angpow from teacher.

After tt we meet up with jm for dinner and walk walk shopping. Eve keep saying she only one shopping while we 4 follow her. After tt we went mac la iced-tea and coke. We tok for a while. Very loud. Hope they will fulfill their words by gg badminton and swimming together.....

The escape day

Nearly 4 am last nite, my father came to my room and shouted " hey li e yaeo chi zao liao". NMHh i still seh seh like tt. I see the cage. The "room" door was opened and obviously my awol baby not inside la.

I went to my father's room and and tried to search. Wah lau trying to search for something when u juz waken up is really seh lor. Like aimlessly like tt lookin for something but the concentration is not there lor.

After like 5 mins search, i really bth le. So slpy lor. So i sit on the floor, keeping very quiet so as to listen for the slightest movement or sound. After for another 5 mins, i finally see the baby running here and there. I quickly go and catch it.

Luckily it nv bite mi. The last time it escaped, my brother helped to catch him and get bitten in return. And its really a deep wound when it bit. Still feeling paisei towards him. haha. The first thing he passed the baby to mi, i only took from him and say " thank you", nv realising he got bitten. Only when my mother saw him washin his wound, then we noe abt it.

Anyway juz as when i wanted to put it back in his cage, i realised his pouch was filled with something. I scared its something dirty like dead insects or wat. So i squeezed the cheek pouch and out came 2 hazelnuts. Think its kapo my father de hazelnut. haha

In case u guys wondering how come i went str to my father's room to look for it.. its bacause i always found him in there. Maybe there got nan ren wei so as a nan shu, he always go there to chou re nao.

Interviews

Went for Ginny's interview today. One word-stress. in the room got this very stressful atmosphere and i guess its the decision whether she wan to keep mi with her. I told her my situation and tell her i will consider and tell her next week. I hope she will keep my position till then.

So next week will be the final showdown. Everything will be more or less finalised by then. I need lot and tons of luck and ren yuan this few weeks.

Anyway I will be attending another interview this coming sat. Should noe the result by then. Chances of getting the job is like 30% cos there are 3 ppl fighting for the post. I definitely hope is mi but hope i wun get too disappointed if i din get.

Today, got this kind of uncertainity feeling with mi. I guess it will stay till i sign on the dotted line. Maybe in the end i cant get anything. Haiz how how how.... can anyone tell mi wat will happen in the following few weeks?
