As mentioned in the previous entry, i say i will share the next outing with the guys on Sunday(24/06/2007). As usual, one of them will initiate " wan to go out together?" Then we will ask the ppl and place to go.

We only decided to go out in the afternoon after their bb session. Cos Junyi once mention abt this 10 bucks per person de ktv in Chinatown with free flow of drinks and a bowl of shark fin, we decided to give the place a try. Another good thing abt this place is the slots mostly is 5hrs slot. Imagine 10 over bucks can sing 5 hrs, its pretty a good deal.

We decided to take the 2-7pm slot. We wanted to book on that day but CM say he cant get thru the line. So all of us went down to the place only to find it fully booked. No choice, we take the next slot which is 7-12 midnight. Of cos we wun sing till 12 la. Even we sing like 3-4hrs, its still worth it.

We reached the place like 3 plus and we had got another 3 hrs to waste in Chinatown. We ate and tok for 1 hr or so. Then we decided to do something funny. We want to experience something.

We went to Pearl's Centre and to the cinema. Haha~ Yup!!! U guess it. To watch movie in Yangtze~ The cinema looked like those very old type one. Juz like the one in Bukit Merah Central yrs ago. All the timing and show are shown on the bulletin board.

Our ah Sha chose one show with a jap ger in the poster. Hehe. Anyway the show is called forlorn ger. I tell u its not cheap leh. Its cost us $8.50 each u noe. But for senior citizen, the tix only 4 bucks. The tix is juz a printed paper. On the tix, its said $7.50 but dunno y aunty charge us $8.50 each? Anyway aunty checked all our IC. Yangtze 4 is the hall no.

Then we went in la. The screen very small and the cinema also small. The seat no good to sit one and its squeak when we moved. Its quite dark inside and it played those suqin song. There are seat number printed on the tix but its actually free seating la. We chose the last 3rd row and i took a pix of those uncles in front of mi. They all came alone and i tell u they r all uncles lor. This pix was taken at the beginning when we went in la. The audiences increased when the show was abt to start. There are also some bangalas.

Notice that i wear a hood over my head. The jacket not mine i juz borrow the hood nia. Cos CM told mi that sometime in the middle of the show, some liquid might splash from back. So muz be umbrella. Hehe~

I tell u... u guys most probably wun believe it. Forlorn ger is not a RA show lor. Its a love story. The whole show din even show the breast, needless to say other thing la. Well, my first time when i actually intended to watch RA show turned out to be a love story. The ger looked abit like shen tian gong zi and the male character look like Guo PinChao+Yamapi's Hair. Sorry everyone, to disappoint u guys, i am not tt kind of ger u tot to be. I juz wan to see for the fun of it. Hehe~

Ok next coming up: KTV

Not much la. The songs quite updated but not all songs haf for all the singers. Those popular one haf. Each person pay ard 12bucks. But i really enjoyed myself ytd. I jumped on the sofa and sing out loud.... In the end, cos from afternoon nv eat till 11 plus, i got gastric pain acting up again.

Long time nv le cos nv chase energy ma. We did sing energy song. Miss the old energy siaz. Niunai....................................................................

Time really flies...(I noe i had alr used this line many times in my previous entries but its true). Especially this year.

Early this yr polymate still meet up for steamboat @ ah pek hse. Then soon after that jun went aust followed by pl and wy going to tw. Boom~ Now they r coming back alr...

Early this yr, I was still quite worried abt my job. Whether i will be absorbed by Quest or will i go other lab to work. Then i tender my resignation to serve my 2 months notice. Boom~ I left DL and started work @ KK. Its alr going to be 2 months.

Early this yr Ah pui was saying abt oversea studies for a month. Then he went and boom~ He is coming back. I tot the time will go very slowly but its still went on very fast. Today is sat and next wed i will go airport to fetch him~ Hehe~

Toking so much alr but all this got nothing to do with the topic today. My great frenz actually refer to my sec frenz in particular. They are Mr Koh CA, Mr Ng YL, Mr Ng CM, Mr Lim JY and Mr Ong JY. Though i am sure they wun be able to read this entry, i still wan to thank them secretly. Cos without them, i will be singing lonely lonely @ home.

I think they r afraid that without ah pui ard, i will be bored to death which is quite true. So they actually made an effort to at least go out or find something to do during one of the every weekend. So at least i get to go out for 1 day every weekend.

The first weekend was the ktv session. Which i enjoy myself singing and gossip here and there with them. Although they r guys, they really tok K. Its a good feeling tokin to them cos i dun haf anything i cant tok to them de. U noe la guys they like to tok abt gers and i can from there noe different opinions.....

The second weekend was a basketball session. After like so many years of not touching basketball, i think my performance that day considered good u noe... Although my shooting still as lousy... I decided to go bb session with them more often.... After bb session, we went dinner then suddenly we got an urge to eat durians.. Haha so we walk from Tiong Bahru to Chinatown. The durian not as nice leh. I still think the Geylang one better but Junyi told mi that serangoon got 1 stall also quite good.

Wat was most interesting: When i was young, my mother will ask mi to put some salt on the inner of the durian husk and pour water to mix. Then drink from there. I rem my mother say if u drink the salt water from glass, its wun be as effective. Its meant to prevent heatiness. So on that particular day, we dun haf salt with us man~ So Yongliang and junyi tot of a creative way. I dunno if u guys think this is creative la but that was the first time i ever heard or do. They go and buy 1 bottle of 100plus and pour at the husk to drink. Cos 100plus is salt water ma. So should be haf the same effect. I dunno if its really wonder but i nv fall sick after tt.

The 3rd weekend i din go out with them. The actual plan was to go ubin for cycling. We agreed to meet @ 9am so i woke up @ 7 plus to see the sky outside dark dark and raining. So i msg CM who was @ changi. He told mi that the sky was fine there. Apparantly, yongliang and junyi's side also raining so our conclusion was not to go anymore lor. Later CM told mi that the weather was very fine the whole day @ Changi. Haiz.. Should haf tried gg to cycle........

The last weekend... Sat i stayed @ home playing game and blar. Tml then go out with those guys.....

PLThien

Well, Happy Birthday to my little Ai Ren PLThien. Wishing her to enjoy good health and happiness. May she smile daily and all her wishes will come true.



Today entry will be on her. Cos its her day ma. This is the sixth year since i first met her at the oritention in SP and dun worry its counting on....



This ger... will definitely tell ppl that we both know that few things abt mi. Haiz... Can change new things a not? Alr heard the the story like million times le lor. Hehe



First-When she first saw mi in sch, the first impression was i am a Malay.

Second-She will say, thinking that i am a Malay, she asked mi if i am a chinese ger. But..答非所闻.. My ans was 宜英。 "Oh, she go and tell mi her chinese name"

Third-During the introduction with the class, i pinched her when she luff at mi. "still dunno her well yet then she pinched mi"



Actually i am very happy to spend my 3 yrs in Poly with this ger. In school, we practically do everything together except when in different lab grp. We did our lab reports, projects like the 屁 topic and the fruity shower gel/foams and blar, took up the same elective and join the same club. So is like always stuck with her. Sianz ah even FYP also got to do with her and also her soulmate. Talking abt soulmate, she also got few other best frenz like her jie bai-Elaine, and good frenz like Penny...



Outside school, we also went after the same grp. Although time and money wasted, we got to experience things that other ppl may nv get to do. When still young, did some crazy and silly things still ok la. I really miss the days though happy and unhappy things happened. I really appreciate the things u done for mi like sneakin to the backstage of the autogrp session and q-ing up overnite. Becos of the grp, we got a lot "jia". Ngee Ann City, IMM are some of the jias.



Life with her will nv be quiet and a lot of 丑事 happen simply cos she DS....Too many le. Some examples include the Mac Umbrella thing, the fall at the drain, and the slippers(her trait slipper straps come out and she very 狼狈.)But She very 讲义气。Always fight againist Jun with mi then complained abt him to Ali and scolded Ali for not siding us. Always claim to be ke ai and nv teh。Always kena imitated by ppl and more and more.



Its a pity that i am not smart enough to go NTU and be her classmate again. Last time we used to go out quite frequently but as she study and i work, we hardly got time to go out and of cos she got new frenz in the new environment and i got ah pui to acc is
another factor.



She once send mi a sms: 有一种朋友，很特别！虽然少联络，见面次数寥寥无几。。。但心里那种感觉， 怎样也不会变。。。依然的很熟悉，很浓厚，很亲切。。。而你，就是这种朋友.-



This sms hopefully is wat she really meant cos it also represent wat i feel for her. Although she got new good frenz, the feeling she give mi is same like last time in Poly. Still feel very close. I am happy to be able to send her off if not i will be very sad for 1/2 yr. ok la... think write till here la. Later she read le then cry how?! Hehe...

My First Spa

Yes. Ytd I went to the first spa session in my life and its through the courtesy of my agent TGS. Anyway he also no need to fork out any money lor. He gave mi and KK a voucher each for this spa centre called "The Ultimate". One of the place is at Shaw Centre, next to Lido located @ lvl 27.



On arrival, they presented us a cup of warm chrysanthemum tea. The place look quite furnished. Even the washroom has hair brushes, cotton buds and pads, body powder and hair mousse.

Then our massagists came to us. Mine is a chinese lady while KK one is a Malay lady. We were led to a room with 2 beds. The 2 ladies prompted us to change into disposable underwear and towel. Well, being the first time, of cos i am a bit suaku la. There r 2 towels each on the bed, one short and one bigger. I tot the small one is wrapped ard the waist and the big one for the overall body. Anyway my massagist very experienced la. She came in then she ask mi to slowly get on the bed and with my back facing her, she slowly removed the towel while i lie on the bed. Then she used the towel to completely cover mi till i settle down properly before she slipped the towel down till my pipi.

Then she started massaging. Her strokes firm but not too strong. From time to time she will ask if its too pain for mi. Its really very relaxing, i cant say its very enjoyable cos all the pressing here and here. No wonder people willingly to spend up to few hundreds per session. It lasted for like ten over mins then they applied some scrub preparation for the body.

Again, the lady asked if she scrub too hard. Actually its quite ok leh. But i felt a bit paisei cos she scrub into my armpits also. Lastly we went to steambath. Think i really cannot tahan leh. Previously @ amore, i inside for 5 mins then i S.O.B le lor. Ytd i think i tahan for nearly 10mins ba but still cannot tahan the full duration la. Then we went bath and then changed back to our clothes.

Before we left the place, the consultant tok to us abt signing up plans for spa. Well this is wat we expected cos TGS already warned us. But not much forcing and we din sign up......

Welcome Aboard

'Welcome Aboard' is the name of one of the programmes KKH planned for the newcomers of the hospital. Sort of an oritention thing but strangely this thingy came after i started working more than 1 month. Anyway i attended this oritention program last wed and its a one day program which mean i dun haf to work for the day. I guess this is one of the good thing being a hospital staff cos u wun get this kind of thing @ private sector.

That morning is a suay one. I went to work the same timing i would for a normal 830 shift day. First the buses took a long time to come and even it came, they r full. So bo bian la i took a cab to work and spent 8 bucks for nothing. Not as if i went out late or wat.

Then i went to the class of 22 including myself. The class consisted of staff from different depts though most of them r nursing staffs. We did a short intro of outselves and Woo~ the CEO was there to shake hand with us though i dunno is the CEO till later. Then the HR personnel gif us a briefing abt the vision, mission and core values of the hospital.

Before we went to our first game, we had some crossword puzzles to do. Wah.. so long nv do le so a bit slow ya?

Our very first game: i called it Hunter,Earthquake and Fire. This game a bit 排斥 ppl who is plump cos one of the staff r not allowed to play. Got to play in grp of 3 plus 1. Meaning 10,16,22etc. 3 ppl will form one grp and 1 person will be extra. The Grp got to be in the formation of 2 trees and 1 squirrel. The 2 trees will face each other and hold each other de 2 hands over the squirrel who will be squating down. now the extra person will shout the command: Fire, earthquake or hunter.
Fire: The 2 trees will break up and try to form another tree to form the formation again while the squirrel will not do anything.
Earthquake: Both trees and squirrel will find a new grp and settle down.
Hunter: Squirrel run and tree remained.
The extra person who shouted the command will try to look for grp after shouting.

The next game we played is the treasure hunt. The class divided into 2 grp. One card in hand and with the clue on the card we got to find the next card and so on. Actually i played cheated in the game cos my colleague beforehand told mi some of the locations alr. So i noe where to find the card. So my team got the final card first. We nv win cos there is no winner to be cos we supposed to wait for the other team to get a secret message decoded. But then my grp actually managed to solve the msg even b4 the other grp arrives.

Then we play the mine field game. This game is a difficult one. Cos only few instructions given. So everyone still a bit blur. There r 26 mines in a field wherby u r supposed to de-mine it in ascending order with the shortest time. The mines r of cos in anyhow order la. There will be penalities(but no further explanation told)given. So its like u haf to work thing out urself even with unclear instruction. This game is quite nice.

Last game of the day: number 0 to number 9 and 9 to 0 is placed on the floor near to one another. 9 is placed left to 8 and 7 and placed in front of 8 etc. Everyone got to hand in hand and walk thru the number. But the ppl muz walk in sequence and muz be continually walking. All the number muz be stepped. Well a bit difficult to explain but quite nice also.

Beside the games, the other good thing is got lot of food to eat. 2 Tea break and 1 lunch. Not bad. Haha....

Ktv-ing

Last Sat was the second ktv-ing of the yr. Well ppl who noe mi well will noe tt i dun always go ktv cos i am afraid to sing in front of ppl that i am not familiar with. The first one this yr was on 1 Jan 2007 where i sang with KK and her bf. Cos i noe they 2 belong to yitailess grp so i feel ok to sing in front of them. KK being a long-time frenz of cos i wun feel shy la.

Last sat session was with 5 guys(YL,Ann,CM,Junyi and JingYi) and mi. My guys frenz quite nice lor. Think they scared i very lonely in Singapore for the whole month when ah pui not ard, they jio mi out so that i wun stay alone at home. Singing was not on our list of event that day. Juz cos we got nothing to do and happen someone suggested so we went la.

We went to the Marina K Box where yl and ann frenz working there as manager wor. He look very kiddy, dun haf the face for manager. The guys dun haf the K box card but luckily i haf it thanx to Energy.

*Recapituation: When i was in the period of star chasing, Energy always went to K Box for events. At one event, ppl with k box membership card then can enter. So in order to enter K Box to see them, i sign up. But after i sign up, they nv went K BOX alr. Sobz.

Anyway, the manager very nice of him. We got 6 ppl but he charged only for 5. Of cos the drinks only got 10 la. But i think its ok lor. The room was really big for the 6 of us. And its took many turn to reach there. Cant imagine the place actually so big.

Choon Ann: Sing many songs and a lot of time is consecutive one lor. Sing a lot of Gary songs. Got the habit of eject junyi song b4 they sing finish;claim to be unintentionally. consider not bad among the grp. Luff at mi when i sing 孤单芭
Yongliang: Normal singing. A bit soft. Quite quiet.
Chee Meng: Sing the least no of songs. A bit out of tune @ times. Like to sing 你 as 我.
Junyi: AhDi look alike but voice not like ahdi. Strong Voice. Sing my 无心伤害. But nvm cos his song been ejected twice and can see he bu shuang lor. Luff at mi when i sing 孤单芭蕾；even on the analogue for mi. Haiz
Jingyi: Super loud voice. No need to use mic also can cover ppl voice. Super like to sing oldie that is very old, even older than KK's bf de songs. pester ppl to sing 北京一夜 and he actually wan to sing the woman part. like to sing the songs that i sing also. like to correct ppl when they sing the word wrong.
Yee Eng: best singer among all*ahem. Managed to sing the songs that i wan prob cos i am a ger so the guys always push up the songs.

Anyway haf fun with those guys. Next i wish to go ktv with the SK grp but that haf to work till july i guess. Haiz Plthien and KK go oversea till 8jul then come back and Wewewe come back after 9jul. 分明就是讨厌我。。。。。。
